I do not want my house to be walled in on sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the cultures of all the lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any. I don’t know which is the greater task: to decentralise a top-heavy civilization or to prevent an ancient civilization from becoming centralised and top heavy. In both cases the core of the problem is to discover what constitutes a good civilization, then proclaim it to the people and help them to erect it. I have no other wish in this world but to find light and joy and peace through Hinduism. I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent. I would far rather that Hinduism died than untouchability lived.
